Best Western Hotel San Marco

The hotel is conveniently located for those traveling by car. The center of Siena is accessible on foot, with a walk taking approximately 25 minutes. However, it should be noted that part of the route lacks a sidewalk along the busy road.

the pleasant reception and the servicelevel of the personnel > at the desk, during breakfast and the chambermaids, all very pleasant and smiling. the room was clean, no noise from other clients, and can be reached by elevator. breakfast was good, not overdone, but good coffee and lots of yoghurts, fresh fruit and sweet cakes. the location of this Best Western is very useful for visitors of the old city Siena, there is a frequent busservice from across the street. the bus, no 54 takes you into the city-center in 5 minutes:piazza Indipendenza. it runs until about 8.30 pm, so if you leave later you just take a taxi back to the hotel, that costs about 12 euros.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also really good. The room is very clean.

It is a great hotel for the price. It is not a walkable distance from downtown but there are buses that go downtown.

Staff were so helpful. Great location if you have a car but are able to walk to Santa Caterina escalator to go to historic centre. Alternatively, bus available or just a very short drive to Santa Caterina car park. Attentive staff. Good breakfast. Beds and air con were fantastic. Great shower and toiletries etc.
